I slip away from my beautiful, sleeping baby to announce to one and all that she has, in fact, arrived. She came on Saturday, August 8 at 1:11pm after 11 hours and 11 minutes of labor. Lest you worry, she did NOT weigh 11 pounds 11 ounces (thank goodness), but a mere 6 and a half pounds. She is still nameless, but we only have till Thursday before the midwives need to file the birth certificate with the county, so a name should be coming soon! She sleeps and eats very well and hardly cries at all. Labor and delivery went fine and I'm recovering nicely, but am rather tired. I know Ron took a few pics on the day she was born, but I'm not sure where they are, so here are a few I took today at 2 days old!
